Privacy notice
What happens to the details you send us through this website, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who we are
This website belongs to Mosstuff Afrika (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2014/013187/07, 8 Briar Rd, Salt River, Cape Town, 7925. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here.

What the quote form collects
When you send a quote request, we receive:
- your name and email address
- your company or brand, and your phone number, if you give them
- the service you need, roughly how many units, who supplies the garments, and your deadline
- your message
- any artwork files you attach
Only fill in what you’re happy for us to have. Name, email and message are the only required fields.
Why we collect it
We use these details to reply to your request, prepare a quote, and, if you go ahead, to make your order. We don’t use them for anything else, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Who receives it
The form emails your request and artwork to our inbox, info@mosstuff.co.za. It is read only by the three members of our team who handle quotes.
Our website and email are hosted by Afrihost, a South African hosting provider, which stores and delivers the email for us. We don’t store or process your information outside South Africa.
We don’t pass your details on to anyone else.
We don’t sell or share your information for marketing.
The quote log
Each time the form sends a request, the website adds a line to a log: the date and time, the service you chose, your email address, how many files you attached, their total size, and whether the email was handed over for delivery. We use it only to check that no quote request goes missing on its way to our inbox.
The log is kept on our web server, in a private folder that can’t be reached from the web. Lines older than 90 days are deleted automatically when the next request is logged.
How long we keep it
Quote emails and artwork stay in our inbox for at most one year, after which we delete them. The quote log keeps each line for 90 days, as described above.
Other information this website uses
This website doesn’t use analytics and doesn’t set cookies of its own. Like any website, our hosting server records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser. Those server logs are kept for as long as our hosting provider’s settings allow.
Every page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and the contact page shows an embedded Google Map. Your browser contacts Google to fetch these, which shares your IP address with Google. Google’s own privacy policy covers what it does with it.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you, and ask for a copy of it
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date
- ask us to delete information we no longer need or are not allowed to keep
- object to us using your information
- complain to the Information Regulator
To do any of these, email info@mosstuff.co.za or call 021 447 1934. Before acting on a request, we confirm it by replying to the email address or phone number it came from.
If you’re not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
