01 · Screen printing ink
Plastisol Ink
Plastisol screen printing ink is the industry standard for apparel, made from a combination of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) particles and plasticiser. Plastisol ink is easy to work with and never expires, and no pigments are needed to mix colours; it has a plastic-like feel once cured.
Unlike water-based inks, plastisol never dries or air-dries on its own; it stays completely fluid until it is exposed to high heat to cure. Plastisol ink is great for prints with lots of detail because, unlike water-based inks, it does not bleed.

02 · Screen printing ink
Water-Based Ink
Water-based screen printing ink uses water as its primary solvent instead of plasticisers, soaking directly into the fabric fibres to create a soft, breathable “no-ink” feel. The lighter the garment, the better the result.
Water-based inks work on almost any substrate and have a shelf life of a few years.

03 · Screen printing ink
Discharge Ink
One of the softest print finishes possible on dark cotton garments. Discharge printing removes the fabric’s dye and replaces it with the ink colour, creating a lightweight, breathable print that is part of the fabric.
Discharge ink is mixed fresh for every job and has a shelf life of only a few hours, meaning any left-over ink must be disposed of. Discharge is a high-end product that will last as long as the garment it is printed on.
Discharge works best on 100% cotton; a cotton / polyester blend will give more of a faded or washed-out look.

04 · Speciality ink
Puff & Suede
Puff and suede inks are speciality screen printing effects used to add distinct, 3D textures to garments. While both expand or change texture during the heating process, they give entirely different visual and tactile results.
They are available as pre-mixed coloured inks or as clear additives that are mixed into existing plastisol or water-based inks.

HD (High Density)
High-density (HD) ink is a speciality effect used to create sharp, crisp, square-edged 3D prints that mimic a rubber badge or emblem directly on the garment.
Unlike puff ink, which expands outward into a rounded, spongy shape, high-density ink keeps completely straight vertical sidewalls and a flat top surface when cured.

Glow in the Dark
Glow-in-the-dark (phosphorescent) ink contains specialised phosphors that absorb ambient light and slowly release it as a bright glow in the dark.
It is available in both plastisol and water-based formulas, either as a pre-mixed ink or as a raw phosphorescent powder stirred into a clear printing base.

07 · Speciality ink
Metallic, Glitter & Foiling
Screen print foiling is a multi-step decorative process that creates an ultra-shiny, mirror-like metallic finish, far more reflective than any standard metallic or glitter ink. Instead of printing actual foil ink, we print a specialised clear or tinted foil adhesive onto the garment, flash dry it, and then use a commercial heat press to permanently fuse a thin sheet of metallised foil onto that adhesive layer.
Glitter and metallic inks are speciality formulas used to add high shine, shimmer and reflective qualities to screen-printed garments. While both fall under the shimmering category, they contain physically different particle sizes, meaning they need very different production setups.

Solvent Inks
Solvent screen printing inks use fast-evaporating organic solvents as their primary carrier, allowing the ink to chemically bite into and bond with non-porous, non-fabric surfaces.
Unlike plastisol (which requires intense heat curing) or textile water-based inks, solvent inks dry rapidly through simple evaporation or chemical cross-linking.

Silicone Rubber Badges
Silicone rubber badges are highly durable, premium 3D emblems applied to garments, outerwear, bags and headwear. Made from liquid silicone rubber (LSR), they offer an ultra-clean matte or glossy finish with a distinct rubbery feel.
They are highly flexible and completely resistant to cracking, fading or peeling under extreme conditions.

Embroidery Badges
Embroidered badges (also known as embroidered patches) are classic, highly durable fabric embellishments created by stitching dense threads onto a heavy backing material. Unlike silicone or PVC badges, embroidered patches offer a rich textile texture with a distinctive raised, dimensional feel.
They are widely used for military uniforms, workwear, sports clubs and premium streetwear brands.

11 · Digital transfer
DTF & UV DTF
DTF (Direct-to-Film) and UV DTF are two modern digital printing technologies that use a “print-then-transfer” method. While they share similar names and both completely remove the need for traditional screen setup or weeding, they are designed for entirely different surfaces.
DTF is built for flexible textiles, while UV DTF is engineered for hard, rigid promotional objects.

Embroidery
Embroidery is the traditional art of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle and thread. In the modern garment industry it has evolved from a slow handcraft into a high-speed, automated production method driven by computerised multi-head machines.
It remains the premium choice for corporate workwear, school uniforms, headwear and high-end streetwear because of its high perceived value and exceptional durability.
